Portfolio Prep Classes, July-September 2020!

This year we will be offering a Portfolio Prep course via zoom during the months of July-September. In this course, (two, 1.5hr classes a week, 20 sessions total) we will be building skills and creating 12-15 impressive portfolio pieces. Our curriculum includes: painting from observation and imagination, learning to draw the human form, and creating artworks in diverse media (collage, paint, mixed media, watercolors, charcoal, acrylics). Our sessions will include class assignments, crits, and homework (painting and drawing practices) that will expand on classwork.

Fees: We are offering a reduced price due to the current circumstances, based on a $30.00 fee per class, 20 sessions, $600.00 total, divided into two payments of $300.00. Each student will receive a material list and purchase on their own and we will provide, upon completion, a professional portfolio case as a gift.

Private Classes:

We are available to schedule private classes throughout the year.  Please contact us if interested in arranging a meeting to discuss the possibility of a private art class.   We offer a portfolio preparation class for teenagers and young adults who are applying for art schools and are seeking to build a strong presentation. We also offer private classes for young students who are interested in more focused, artistic training.
